Sagging breasts is a problem shared by all women across the world. It doesn't matter if your breasts are large or small, they will eventually succumb to gravity and eventually droop and sag. When the glandular tissues that are responsible for the firmness of your breasts start to deteriorate or weaken and the connective tissues between the breasts and the muscles are stretched, there is a big chance that your breasts will head down south.

Factors That Make Breasts Sag

Gravity

You might find it funny that gravity is one of the factors that bring about sagging of the breasts. However, you must remember that the force of gravity pulls everything down. If you are one of the women who are not fond of wearing supportive brassieres, then it is very likely that the tissues supporting your breasts will loosen up (or down) because of the incessant stretching due to gravitational pull. It is also important to note that gravity can contribute to the development of wrinkles.

Sudden Weight Loss

The skin needs time to adjust to your shape and body. When you gain weight it has to stretch itself a little bit to make way for the additional bulk. In the same manner, your skin can slightly retract when you lose weight. However, if you are overweight or obese and you suddenly lost half your weight in a short period of time, your skin would not be able to recover from the big drop. As a result, you will be seeing sagging skin all over your body, most especially in your breasts. In fact, it is possible that your breasts will look like balloons that have been deflated rapidly.

Menopause

During menopause, the levels of estrogen in a woman's body depreciate. This is actually the reason why women who are undergoing this phase exhibit a lot of symptoms, such as irritability, mood swings and a lot of other changes in the body. One palpable change in women after menopause is the sagging of the breasts because collagen, which is important in keeping your boobs firm and perky, needs estrogen. Thus, when the levels of estrogen plummet, collagen production also suffers.

How To Prevent Your Breast From Sagging

Wear Appropriate Brassieres

One effective way to prevent or delay the sagging of your breasts is to wear a supportive bra, especially if you are big chested. This undergarment will protect your boobs from gravity. For maximum support, you need a bra that has under wire and straps that are wide and sturdy.

Breastfeeding is alright and would not cause your breast to sag. However, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should wear supportive brassieres every time. Many mothers end up having big sagging breasts after pregnancy and breastfeeding because they did not wear bra during such periods.

Maintain Your Weight

For your breasts' sake, it would be best to maintain your weight. By suddenly gaining or losing pounds, you will overstretch your skin and make it lose its elasticity. If you are already overweight and obese, it is best to find a weight loss program that includes weight training and exercises. Furthermore, make sure that you do not go for diet crazes that make you drop so many pounds in a few weeks.

Use Breast Enhancement Products

Aside from increasing your breast size, some breast gels and creams, such as Clevastin, can actually help in preventing or even reversing the sagging of your boobs. As always, it is best to look for products that are natural and safe. If you want to know more about Clevastin and how it can help you with your breast problems, simply log on to .
