The implication was that I needed to get my life back. It began by through conversation with friends and ended in me picking up a little book (laughing) those of you who know the book may giggle at that last comment, in fact it is a terrifyingly large volume of work by Jean Paul Sartre. At the same time I was captivated by the richness of its content and I wanted to read on.

In its bindings are descriptions of life and death, morality and judgment, creativity and awareness that had far surpassed any understanding that I had previously known. I was fascinated by the structure of the argument and more specifically that it wasn't just another book that offered you quick fixes or easy solutions to living a better life.

I have always been skeptical of anything or anyone that offers that. So I picked up the book and began reading topics like "The For itself" "Being for others" "Facticity" and I immediately realized that this was not just a book that I would read through once and put down thinking that I had accomplished yet another.

Rather this is a book that is a gradual holistic process toward infinity. This was the turning point for me and yet I had to apply its principles daily to see the practicality in this. The Paradox of this this is that the book offers no solutions to success, there is not one way to happyness and ironically if you think there is you have missed the point altogether.
