It's not a successful idea to wake up one day and decide to quit smoking without having a strong reason that supports your decision in case you felt weak and needed to smoke, you have to have a strong reason to quit smoking for, not just because your doctors recommended for you to stop smoking, or because you want to cut down your expenses a little bit, so your strong reason should come out from the depth of your mind, and always remember there are millions of people who stop smoking every year, but you must look carefully for the best way to quit smoking, as there are many ways to be used, also there are many excuses we create to claim that quitting smoking didn't succeed to revert to smoking. So if you're trying to find your best way to quit smoking, and you have listed your reasons that encourage you to quit, there are a couple of things you can do to help you along your journey to quit smoking.

The thing that makes quitting smoking seem like mirage, like whenever you take a step forward you feel lost, is not having a strong reason to cling to when you feel you need to revert to smoking badly, if you found your reason to quit smoking, that's great, so start planning how to quit now, but if you can't help yourself concerning this matter, and couldn't find a real big reason to quit for, you may need to seek somebody's help, once you have somebody who is helping you knowing why you want to quit smoking, he'll always be supportive to you, and will remind you if you felt weak, and there'll always be someone whom you can share with how your life is going without smoking, and what are the difficulties that faced you everyday.

This doesn't mean that the decision of quitting smoking will be simple, actually a lot of people feel uncomfortable thinking of it, they're afraid not to withstand their decision, if you're one of these people, then try to tell your family and friends about what you want to do, they'll probably encourage you, and whenever you feel weak or that you might light up a cigarette, talk to them, they'll help you.

To overcome the whole smoking matter needs some time, everyday you might have that craving to the smoking habit, and this is very normal and it happens to almost all the quitting smokers, because smoking is addictive and it just became a habit for you, here comes the role of your family and friends to strengthen you not to revert back to smoking, and to remind you of your big main reason you're quitting smoking for, which will help you much to withstand any cravings your might feel, and help you to overcome all the hard times that you'll pass through to finally lead a happy life as an ex-smoker.
