Just when everything was going smoothly in your relationship, you find yourself in a breakup. What led to this calamity? Does your ex want you back? What should you do to know what he is really thinking?

His behavior will indicate his actions. Even if he tries to act as if he is still interested in you, by flirting and talking, do not take these signs as proof that he is still interested in you. Take your cue and remain a bit aloof in your behavior towards him. Let him not feel that he can take you for a ride. Instead, let him wonder what is going on inside of you.

Finding out the truth makes a big difference.  Getting him to talk to you and tell you the truth may not always work, but it is one way to discover what is really going on.  Or, you can observe him behaviors as the above paragraph mentions and figure out what he's telling you that way.

By showing your eagerness, to look for tell-tale signs that your relationship is going to last, you are pushing for the obvious. If you stay calm and composed and do not react to his charming overtures, or flirtatious behavior, you will be able to keep cool and assess the situation correctly. Do not send out feelers about your real feelings and give him the advantage. This will give you leverage over the action that you will want to take.

It is only natural that you are going to be lonesome and blue on your own. The chances are he is feeling the same way at the estrangement. However bitter the quarrel, remember that loneliness is a terrible thing to experience. This alone may cloud your thinking and make you want to rush back into his arms.

Sometimes your boyfriend will miss you over time, just like you are missing him.  So you may not be alone in what you are feeling, even though he dumped you.  So one thing you can do is check in with him every week or so and have a light chat about things and gauge and read his reactions.

There is one way of finding out. Put the question upfront to him and ask, "Do you think we can ever get back together again?" Watch his reaction as he is faced with this outright question? It may reveal a lot as to his state of mind.

Do not be fooled by his new tactics. He may just be stringing you along by sending out all the right signals and you may be temporarily deceived. He may be paying you back in his own way for the way you have treated him. Or you may be just over reacting. The possibility does exist that he is not letting you know how he really feels.

The ultimate decision to make up and have your lover back with you, is yours and yours alone. If you feel he is sending you the right feelers and you are convinced they are genuine, you can truthfully answer the dilemma of, "Does my ex want to get back with me?" and enjoy the making up and hold on to what you have.

There is a whole bunch of things you can do differently once you get your ex back.  You can learn from your mistakes and from his to try to avoid trouble in the future.  You don't want to end up back in the same place, lamenting the loss of your lover a month down the road.

You can begin to move in the right directions if you feel that you need to get him back. Once you are positive that that is what you ultimately want, face the challenge and go for it! After all, you're worth it.
