The feelings that go through you after a relationship breaks up are incredibly painful and it is always a struggle getting over a relationship.  Hey dating is a rough business.  Love makes you feel and do things, you might never do if you thought rationally about it.  But love is never rational.

Are you laying around, moping and wishing you hadn't broken up?  It feels like you will never get over it sometimes. Even though breaking up is common and normal when you are dating, it never is easy after you have given your love to someone and had it rejected.

Have you ever been able to get back together with an ex for a second try?  What if there was a way to get back together.  There are some strategies to use that have worked before but the first key if you want to get them back is to slow down and don't rush it.  Don't start pouring your heart out to them or calling too often.  Let them have some space before you try to get back in.

So to save a relationship that has had ended here are some tips to slow yourself down.

Get out of the house and do some things you have been meaning to do.  Things you enjoy, start having fun on your own.  This will distract you and get you to stop thinking about your ex all the time.  Plus having fun will make you a person others want around.

Wallowing in pity and dispair is not a way to make friends.  People want to hang around with fun people.  So do things and stay busy and social.

This is your chance to do things you like to do and have fun on your own.  Being too dependent on someone else is not good for relationships.

You have to show you are not too serious and are over your ex.  Just showing you don't need them, will make you a lot more exciting again and get them thinking about you.

Go and start your exercise program up and get back into top shape.  Exercise is a proven depression breaker.  Laughter and exercise clears your mind.  You can't laugh and be sad at the same time.

So stay positive and fun.

It is a good idea to find someone to talk about your feelings with.  Go over your relationship with someone and see what their take is on it.  Maybe they will see where you made mistakes.  Figuring out where and what you did wrong is the key to avoiding it in the future and getting your ex to see you accept your responsibility for the relationship.

So how to do you go about getting your ex back?

Getting over a relationship first is the key to restarting a relationship with your ex.

First off, don't try to prove your ex wrong or blame them for the breakup.  That is one of the hardest things to prove to anyone.  Nobody wants to admit something was their fault.

There are a lot of techniques out there for rebuilding a relationship and getting a second chance from your ex. A lot of them don't work and are actually counter-productive.
