Make the best golden wedding speech at your golden wedding anniversary. You would think at first that it would be hard to write your own wedding speech, but the truth is, it is very easy to write it as long as you have some tips and guides to help you.

At first I was also anxious about the prospect of writing my own golden wedding speech again. And why not? I was out of practice. It has been quite a while since I wrote anything of significance. The fact that I am going to write a golden wedding speech and deliver it in front of an audience was simply nerve wracking.

Good thing I found some tips and tricks online that helped me write my golden wedding speech. Here are some of the things that I learned.

When writing your wedding speech, prepare it for a general patronage audience. You don't want to slip in some double meaning jokes or anything in there. It's just part of wedding speech etiquette that you will have to follow. Just keep your toasts and speeches clean as much as you can.

Write with a single unifying theme in mind. Keep this theme in mind like a thesis statement to help guide you in writing. It will help you from digressing too much from the topic at hand, therefore making your speech short and simple.

Use short sentences when populating your paragraph. Use at least 3 to 5 short sentences when writing the introduction, middle and the end of your speech.

The first paragraph should be sued for introduction. Write down some stories of where you met your spouse, how you met him or her, and how he or she changed your life for the better.

The middle part should consist of anecdotes and inspirational stories about you and your spouse. Try and incorporate stories of how you had problems and how you surmount all of it together.

The end part is of course an obligatory congratulations. Do congratulate your spouse for reaching a milestone with you and your relationship.

I followed all the steps enumerated above and I made a good showing of myself at my golden wedding anniversary. I made a very good golden wedding speech that my spouse was very proud of. I know that you too can make a great wedding speech, just follow the instructions above. If you need more tips and guides to writing your very first wedding speech, just click
