Are men more interested in caring for their hair than women? In their early twenties many men start checking their scalp for signs of hair loss. While they have it, hair care is a big deal for many men. Unlike their often more experimental female friends, men worry that certain products may cause or accelerate hair loss and many myths abound about this.

To date, however, evidence shows that baldness is mostly in the genes. There's no proof styling gels will cause hair loss. However, finding the right products to keep your hair and scalp healthy, and style or create volume to improve the look of weak spots, can help you stay looking your best as long as possible.

Caring For Your Hair
To maintain hair health, you need to take care of it regularly by getting it cut or trimmed and using credible products to keep it strong and shiny. Eating well and getting a balance of nutrients in your diet can also support healthy hair growth. Look for good natural hair care products that contain vitamins and natural oils.

Hair Care Tip One: Scalp Massage
Chinese medicine favours various herbs to prevent hair loss, and the use of massage. Don't be afraid to pamper yourself by having a regular head massage. This helps deliver blood (and nutrients) to the scalp and regular massage may help stimulate hair growth. It also feels great!

Hair Care Tip Two: Essential Oils
Treat your hair with essential oils and see the difference. Six drops of lavender and six drops of bay essential oils in a bottle of almond, sesame or soybean massage oil is a good thing to have on hand. Use this to massage your scalp.

Like to know more about caring for your hair? These hot products will have you looking super sharp and feeling handsome.

Hair Products: One – Shampoo And Conditioner
If you don't have a "short back and sides" type of hair cut, using a good shampoo and conditioner will change the way your hair moves and can make it easier to style.

To prevent your hair from looking dry and wild use a leave on conditioner at least once a fortnight. You can use shampoo on your hair every time you shower, but use something with natural ingredients to reduce damage to the hair shaft, prevent chemical build-up and dandruff.

Hair Products: Two – Hair Wax And Hair Gel
There are so many hair waxes, gels and sprays available that you may have to use a bit of trial and error to find one that suits you. Head and Shoulders' Hair Endurance for Men is one reliable product and is easy to find. There are different varieties of shampoos that cater to different kinds of hair. Head and Shoulders also has a number of conditioners for different hair conditions. Choose Classic Clean conditioners for light and easy-to-manage hair.

Another product that removes tangles and enriches your hair is Bliss Lemon and Sage Supershine Shampoo. It has wheat protein and active ingredients that make your hair glossy, bouncy and healthy.

If you are looking to buy a tried-and-true styling gel take a look at the hair product Firm Gel from the MiN company. Although its consistency is a bit different to similar products, this one comes with aloe vera, vitamins, green tea extract and moisturizers for an extra nutrient boost.

Also produced by Min, the Wash & Rinse Cleansing Pack is an interesting product. It contains many essential vitamins including vitamins A, C and E to help prevent free radicals from damaging the skin and hair follicles. It also contains aloe vera, which is wonderfully soothing for your scalp.

Hair Products: Three – Essential Hair Oils
You can give new life to your hair with essential oils as they soak right into the hair shaft to feed your hair and revitalize your scalp. Biguine Bio Marvellous Oil Hair Treatment is chock full of essential oils and claims to do wonders for your hair. It's definitely worth trying this hair oil treatment. It comes in convenient 30 ml packs.
