Herniated Disc problems can strike anyone. Eighty percent of the world population experience back pain. This fact is supported by the increasing number of healthcare professionals that specialize on providing relief for herniated disc and assorted back pain relief. Herniated disc rehabilitation has changed over the years as doctors learn more about the spine and the proper treatment of a bludging disc.  Despite the progress many misconceptions still exist.

A herniated or bludging dis pain can occur at a certain region on the back or at multiple areas simultaneously. It can be intense at a specific area or experienced in a radiating pattern, emanating from a certain area called "hot spot." The pain usually occurs on lower and upper areas of the back. In my case I had a bludging disc in my lower back and the pain radiated down my leg.

One of the biggest misconceptions about

Most people experiencing back pain caused by back strains and muscle spasms due to some strenuous physical activities like carrying heavy loads that were carried out with wrong posture. The point is that back surgery is not for everyone. Every surgery has inherent risks and believe it or not research studies have shown that 20% of healthy individuals who have protruding disc and any other disc abnormalities have no back problem complaints.

The main causes are usually due to a combination of factors and determining the root cause can be very difficult.

It's amazing that the human body can and

Another misconception is that bed restthe best solution for herniated pain Years ago that was the first thing a doctor would reccomend. However now we know that this is the wrong thing to do. Staying in bed will only weaken your muscles and prolong recovery. I

Instead it's important and vital to your recovery to stay active and get your body working by doing some of your non-strenuous daily routines so as to expedite your recuperation. Doing simple exercises will strengthen your back muscles and would lessen the probability of herniated back pains and injury from reoccurring. Done with care and moderation and if necessary with the health of a physical therapist exercise is now been proven to be highly effective.

To sum it up, it's important for you to be proactive in treating your herniated disc. Beware of the misconceptions and the advice of well meaning but misguided friends. Avoid the temptation of bed rest and view surgery as a dangerous and invasive procedure and as a last resort.

But how do you prevent and or cure lower back pain? How do you lose the pain and get on with your life? Well the answer is to find a system that strengthens the back and abdominal muscles correcting muscle imbalance. One of the top rated programs is This program developed by The Healthy Back Institute has helped thousands to lose their back pain for good.
