Acne is a kind of skin disorder occurring in the face characterized by inflammations, red pimples, blemishes etc. It is a skin condition common mostly among adolescents. Acne is caused due to secretion of hormones from the oil or sebaceous glands of the skin. This oil gets surfaced on the skin through the tiny pores present on it. Excessive emission of oil eventually clogs the openings of the pores and layers of dead cells get deposited on them giving the bacteria a fine ground to breed. This blocked pores form red inflammation named acne. Two major reasons for acne are eating disorder and improper clearance of bowl. Excessive intake of improper foods like oily food, starch, fatty food, sugar and junk food etc can lead to an acne condition in the skin. If you have too much exposure to dirt and pollution, improperly cleaned skin will also give rise to pimples. There are numerous home made remedies to fight acne problems. Some of them can be easily made and requires very little time whereas others take longer time and more labor. You can choose anyone according to your schedule. Mix a tablespoon of lime juice with a tablespoon of ground nut oil. This one has been used and rated by many as the most effective home made remedy for pimples. Orange peel is also considered valuable for acne skin. Apply a paste of cinnamon powder and honey before sleeping and wash it off with water the next morning. Drinking a glass of wheat grass everyday will help reduce acne. Another great home made acne remedy is application of a paste of turmeric powder and mint juice. Leave it for thirty minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. Taking Ayurvedic Neem supplements also help. Besides following the home made remedies, addressing the core issues causing acne is the best thing to cure it completely. For this you have to bring the oiliness of your skin under control. Try to have a balanced diet and include a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in it. Drink plenty of water and fluids everyday. This will help wash away the toxin wastes of your body. Strictly avoid fried and oily foods, nuts, chocolates, cold drinks etc. Take antioxidants like Vitamin C and D. These will rejuvenate your skin. Vitamin E helps in removal of old scars. Also keep an eye on the cleanliness part. All these in whole will help you avoid acne and have a healthy skin.
