If, after watching The Secret Movie, you find you are unable to make the Law of Attraction work for you, you are not alone. Bob Proctor himself admits that about 97% of the people who watched it could not make it work for them. The fact of the matter is, the Law of Attraction does not work alone, but in conjunction with other laws that the movie did not cover.

One of these is the Law of Increase. Here are 3 tips to help you learn how to use it.

1. You Get What You Concentrate On

Have you ever heard the expression, "What you praise, grows?" Have you ever tried to practice it? Perhaps a more simplified explanation would be to explain that you get what you concentrate on.

If, for example, you are in a relationship with someone and you find yourself dwelling on something they do that particularly annoys you, - stop right there.

Instead, start thinking about something you find especially endearing that they do. Write it down. Think of a few more things and make it a list. Then, start concentrating on that list.

I guarantee you two things will happen:

a. They will begin to exhibit those endearing qualities or actions more often. b. Their annoying habits or actions will diminish, first in your mind, and then in your actual experience.

2. Develop an Attitude of Gratitude

In a 2009 research study regarding one of the keys to happiness, conducted by Todd Kashdan, associate professor of psychology at George Mason University, gratitude was found to be one of the essential ingredients for living a good life.

Allowing yourself to feel grateful for the things you already have opens the door to receiving more.

Once again, write down the things you are grateful for: the people in your life, the things you already have, and good things that have happened to you. You will find that as you spend more time concentrating on those things for which you are thankful, more good things and experiences will come into your life, and the negative things will begin to disappear from it.

3. Create a Paradigm Shift - from Negative to Positive

It is essential that you begin seeing things in a positive light. Remember, you get what you concentrate on: the more you concentrate on the negative aspects of your life, or the economy, or the world in general - the more the negative things will seep into your life. These thoughts alone will sap you of energy, and you will fail to take the necessary steps toward changing your life through the use of the Law of Attraction.

If at first your mind will not cooperate, and you find your thoughts running on a constant negative track, here is a simple phrase to use over and over again, "Thank you for sharing." Then replace the negative thoughts with thoughts of what you would like to see more of in your life.

Do not laugh because this is so simple. It is a powerful way of dissolving negative thoughts and experiences, and while at first you may have to say it many times during the day, these negative thoughts will lose their momentum, and you will be well on your way to using the Law of Attraction to bring the positive things you want into your life.
