Are you going bald already? Do not worry. You are not alone. Research says that as much as 30% of men and women suffer from hair loss problems by the time they reach the age of 35. Because of its very high rate of occurrence, people have been trying endlessly to discover hair loss remedies which are effective and speedy.

There are natural and medicinal ways which can stop going bald. However, it must be noted that a natural hair loss remedy is only effective in slowing down the way to complete baldness. While on the other hand, medications can really stop hair loss while contributing to hair regrowth.

One of the most basic natural hair loss remedy is hydrotherapy. The process involves alternately putting a hot cloth and cold cloth on top of your hair. This therapy is very effective because the water on the cloth can improve the blood circulation in your head and may help you remove the dirt and particles on the scalp. However, this process may prove to be very cumbersome to others. For them, they can just go into the shower and alternately use the hot and cold showers.

Additionally, you can also opt to use natural herbs to help regrow hair. You can use these herbs to serve as shampoo and hair conditioners. Use it regularly and you will begin to see good improvements on top of your head. You can add some essential oils such as rosemary and lavender to give your hair a pleasant smell and add some apple cider vinegar to wash away the dirt from your hair. Silica is a natural ingredient that helps strengthen hair, thus, it would be a very beneficial ingredient.

Green tea can also be an effective natural hair loss remedy. Catechins found in the green tea contain the 5 alpha reductase enzymes that have the capacity to convert testosterones into DHTs. Thus, it can help prevent male pattern type of baldness. Drinking several cups of green tea each day would be good for your head. You may also opt to take it as a capsule, just be careful in choosing what product to use.

On the part of the medications, the FDA gas claimed that as much as 300,000 hair loss products have been made available in the US market last year. They include creams, vitamins, hormone boosters, hair transplants, and scalp reduction procedures. Non-surgical treatments also include the wearing of toupees, wigs and other hairpieces.

Meanwhile, if you have the time and the money, you may choose to have a surgical hair loss treatment. Hair transplant, though very costly and painful, has already been proven to be very effective. This treatment typically lasts for about one to two years. In this treatment, healthy hair follicles are taken from other parts of the scalp and they are transplanted onto the other areas where there are dead hair follicles.

The abovementioned hair loss remedies are all been proven effective, at some point or another. Though humans are said to lose at least 100 hair strands a day, anything excessive is still worrisome. It is a must that medical attention be sought to further explore proven means of addressing this problem-unless you want to be like the ancient Egyptians who rub crocodile fats into their scalps to induce hair growth.
