Let's face it - Anxiety isn't pleasant. In fact, it's not something that you like to live with. For those of us that have it, it's a struggle everyday. Anxiety can even make it tough to deal with daily tasks, such as going to the store, or even getting out of the house altogether. You shouldn't let anxiety get the best of you. Stop letting it control you and your life!

So, how can you get a firm grasp on your anxiety and show it who's boss? You first need to learn how to cope with it. While this is one of the hardest things to do, if done right, you can eventually eliminate anxiety from your daily life.

What are some ways or methods in coping with anxiety? Here are a few general ways you can follow to help eliminate your anxiousness:

- When feeling anxious, sit down and take a few deep breaths. Literally drop everything your doing, get comfortable, and take in nice, deep breaths. This works great for sudden anxiety. It helps you gain back some clarity and calm yourself down.

- If you're thinking about too many things at one, focus your mind on one thing. By doing this, you will be directing your mind off of your anxious thoughts, which will stop your anxiousness. While it may be easier than it sounds, if you try it, it does work.

- If you're feeling anxious and you have someone around, sit down and talk with them. This will help clear your mind and get your mind off of whatever it is that is making you anxious.
