Conversational hypnosis is the process of getting people to do what you want or believe what you say using the power of your conversations it is different from the normal hypnosis which involves swinging a chain and putting someone into a trance, this kind of hypnosis is the one sales people use to persuade people to buy and what some normal people use to get people to obey them. This article would look at the various ways to do conversational hypnosis.

One thing you need to understand is that conversational hypnosis does not work on everyone for instance some people who already know what it is all about would know what you are trying to do if you try to play it on them.

The first way to do this kind of hypnosis is through the use of reciprocation and this is a very powerful method if done right, how this works is that if you want someone to do something for you, you do something similar for the person and expect nothing in return this way when you eventually make your request you are more likely to get compliance. For instance if you want one of your friends to follow you somewhere next week you can follow the person somewhere this week that way when you ask the person next week he is more likely to say yes.

Another way of using conversational hypnosis is through the use of commitments and this is also another good method to get people to do what you want. This is how it works, if you want someone to do something for you make a small request before you actually make the larger request this way the person is more likely to do what you want. For instance if you want someone to help you with something for 4 hours and you know he would probably not accept, you can make the request for 1 or 2 hours and when the time is almost done beg him to do more hours this way the person is more likely to agree than if we had actually told him earlier.

Liking is another method of doing conversational hypnosis and this works on the basis that people are more likely to do things for people they like or people feel similar to and this is why you see a lot of sales people try to bring how similar they are to you. This is how it works, if you want someone to do something for you try to show how similar you are, what characteristics the two of you have that are similar this makes the person feel more comfortable with you and makes it easy to get a yes when you eventually make your request. Examples of similarities you can point out include gender, age, income level and many others.

All in all, learning how to do conversational hypnosis is not as difficult as people make and even if you do not plan to use it for any purpose it is still something everybody should learn to protect themselves from people out there who are out to take advantage of peoples weaknesses.
