With internet overflowing with weight loss guides, diet plans, e-books and what not, it is just impossible to find some ways to gain a little weight all naturally without the aid of any supplements!

But not anymore! Below, I will explain you some sureshot and completely natural ways to gain a few extra healthy weight about 10-15 lbs in 2 months.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING?

So,let's begin and see what you should be doingexactly:-

1. GET IN THE HABIT OF CONSUMING QUALITY FOOD

Now, a lot of you might be thinking does some kind of exceptional quality food exists that can help us gain some extra weight in matter of days?

The actual truth is to consume some CALORIE DENSE foods so that lesser quantity gives you greater calories. Now that's really nice!!

And there are many calorie dense foods that you can easily find in your kitchen like cheese, bread, rice, bananas, full-fat meats and always give preference to fruits over vegetables beacuse vegetables being mostly fibrous are not that dense in the calories.

And always remember its a good habit to check the food can labels to keep a track of the number of calories that you are consuming!

2. ALWAYS DO MORE AND MORE ANAEROBIC EXERCISES

Simply speaking, Anaerobic exercises are the ones which don't use oxygen to release energy and the energy is mainly released by the internal metabolism of our body through anaerobic respiration.

Because these exercises are very short-lived so they are highly intense and cant be tolerated for a very long time.

Examples of some great anaerobic exercises include sprinting, heavy weight lifting or power lifting, mountaineering, martial arts, wrestling etc.

3. EAT AT REGULAR INTERVALS

Now, you must have noticed this as-well that this is an advice given to both people who are trying to lose or gain some weight!

But how is this possible- similar advice on two opposite effects?

Well, the key here is the kind of diet, high carb and fat diet is suitable to gain weight although people looking to lose weight should avoid such a diet.

4. ALWAYS PREFER RAW FOOD TO COOKED FOOD

Now, this is secret that I'm sure you might not have heard very often! But trust me it's a very important element in gaining healthy weight.

Let's take a closer look at the various benefits of having raw food:-

  • When the food is being cooked all the various minerals, vitamins and enzymes get destroyed and the fats are highly damaged rendering them indigestable.
  • Cooking destroys nearly 30% water soluble vitamins(Vitamins B and C) and about 40% vitamins soluble in fat(A,D,E and K).
  • Raw food removes harmful wastes clogged in your intestines leaving you much more hungrier.
  • The cooked food devoids you of some fundamental amino acids responsible for our body's major growth, as the immense heat during cooking destroys the PROTEIN structure.
  • A large number of INORGANIC elements enter our blood stream when we consume cooked food and these are responsible for making you feel tired and drained after the meals.

In the end, I would like to say try to consume as much raw food as possible, as it will really help you gain a few extra pounds in a healthy manner.

5. TAKE SLEEPING SERIOUSLY

What I mean to say is, have a great quality sleep for atleast six hrs a day with minimal disturbances and distractions.

Let's see why the sleep is an essential element in gaining weight..

Now, our body grows only and only while we are asleep, whereas whenever you are exercising or doing some other strenuous activity there is no form of growth at that time whatsoever.

This is because on sleeping, our body shuts down all the bodily functions (except the life supporting ones) and begins to repair itself freely, forming new cells and tissues, resulting in growth and muscle building.

So, ultimately we can see that sleeping is a the God's natural gift for our body's growth.
