Acne is caused from several different factors which makes it a bit complicated to treat. One medication can work for one person but has not impact on another persons skin. If you are like me, then this is not making you feel any better. So what can you do to clear up your acne?

There are many things you can do to clear up your acne without even visiting the dermatologist.

Tip #1 Try to maintain a clean skin. It is recommended to wash your face at least twice per day, but if you have very oily skin you should wash more often. Washing should be as gentle as possible, and should not over wash your skin as this will wash out some of the oils needed to protect your skin and hair shaft.

Tip #2- Use a gently wash that contains salicylic acid to exfoliate the skin and avoid harsh scrubs. A gently wash will do the job to get rid of the dirt and bacteria that a lodged deep inside the pores. A rough scrub on the other hand hand irritate your acne and make it even worse.

Tip #3 Keep your hands off your face. Your hands are constantly touching all different types of surfaces capturing dirt and bacteria. If you touch your face, you increase the risk of inserting more dirt and bacteria into your pores which will make your acne even worse.

Tip #4 Never try to pop your pimples. I would never recommend anyone to try and pop their pimples. I know it can be very tempting but you are safer keeping your hands off. Popping a pimple will cause the area to become inflamed an swollen.

There are many acne treatments on the market, so make sure you do your research to help you clear up acne fast. Acne is triggered for different reasons for different people, so do your homework and do not just buy the first product you see or is being marketed by your favorite movie star. In fact, there are some very effective all natural products that may be just the thing you have been looking for.
