Complexion refers to the natural color and appearance of the skin of a person. Human skin color can range from black to pinkish white. In pinkish white complexion the skin color is actually colorless, showing pink color of the blood in the skin. On average, women have slightly lighter skin than men.

Also called the “anti-stress vitamin,” the B5 or pantothenic acid tablet actually helps regulate the secretion of hormones that causes blemishes to form internally. Dosage depends on your body, weight and severity of your case, but do not exceed 1,500 mg daily. Take on a full stomach with plenty of water.

People who drink a lot of alcohol, eat too many refined foods, or are under a lot of stress naturally have a deficiency of B5 in their system. B5 is just one of many ways to restoring balance to your body. This means also eating plenty of fresh, whole foods and drinking lots of water.

Drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables. Natural foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables contain vitamins and antioxidants that are good for our skin. Water keeps our system flushed out and moisturizes it from the inside.

Be careful when using certain types of laundry detergents. This is especially important for people with any kind of eczema, dermatitis, or sensitive skin. Some detergents irritate the skin and can cause it to break out. Use hypoallergenic products whenever possible. Use mild soaps and cleaning products which are less likely to irritate your skin.

Use sunscreen to protect against sunburn. Going out in the sun without protecting your skin from the UV rays from the sun can result in your skin being sunburned. Use sunscreen with SPF-15 or higher.

If you are looking for natural sources of B5, sunflower seeds, mushrooms, yogurt, and corn are particularly potent. These can be eaten to supplement your vitamin capsule regiment.

Moderate Depth Peels

These remove more of the upper layers of skin than the superficial type and have a greater potential for improvement of the skin. I use TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) Easy Peel solution which is applied to the face or hands with cotton buds and left until a frosted look appears in places. It will be necessary to repeat this peel weekly until the desired effect is achieved. Recovery can take a week or more. Skin may be pink, taut and swollen at first, before beginning to itch and peel. It is not just peeling and renewal of the skins top layers that produce the results: with the barrier of the top layers removed, high quantities of beneficial factors such as antioxidants in the after care creams are then allowed to reach the exposed new skin. As skin renewal is progressive over the months treatment, a relatively normal social life is possible during this time.

Complexion Masks

Make a paste of a pinch of turmeric and a tbsp.of milk powder in 2 tbsp.of honey and the juice of half lime. Apply it on your face and leave it on till it dries. Rinse your face and feel the difference.

Take equal quantities of black and white cumin seeds and make into a thick paste with milk or cream. Apply the paste all over the face. After 20 minutes, rinse it off. Use this mask atleast twice a week for maximum effect.
