When your boyfriend tells you he needs a break, the best thing you can do is give him the break he needs. While you are giving out breaks, take one for yourself. This might surprise you, but the best way to make your ex boyfriend desperate for your love is to take it away from him. You might think that if you do not constantly tell him that you love him and remind him that you are still around, you will lose him. Just the opposite is true. If you are always in his face, he will never be able to miss you like crazy and you will be sure to lose him.
Although they do their best not to show it, some men are very insecure. You might do your best to show him that you love him and want a future with him, but he will still not be sure that you love him. So he tells you he needs a break. Your ex does not want to end the relationship and he does not want to lose you, he wants you to chase him. This will inflate his ego and make him feel like a real man. The only way you can end this nonsense is not to play his game. Let him go for now and go on with your life. He broke up with you because he was not sure of your love in spite of you showing him in every way how much you love him. So, let him see how it feels when you take your love away from him completely. When you are no longer around his nostalgia gene will kick in and he will realize all of the things you did for him. It will soon be clear to him that he was loved and he threw it away.
This will make your ex boyfriend miss you like crazy and become desperate for your love. Soon you will be getting a call from him. Do not play games with him, take his call and remain calm. If he starts telling you he made a mistake, stop him and tell him you do not want to discuss it on the phone. Arrange a time and place to meet him so you can discuss it face to face.
When you meet him, let him talk first and tell you he now realizes that he made a bad mistake. When he has finished, tell him how much he hurt you. Let him know that you love him very much, but you do not want to go through this again. Let it all out and tell him how you feel about his childish action. This will make him see that he has a real quality woman and he will respect and love you even more .
