When it comes to the issue of planning for a wedding the need for proper organization and a realistic timetable cannot be stressed enough. There is no disputing the fact that there are many tasks to be completed. This is where a written list comes in since it is very easy to miss small things that may turn out to be a deciding factor for the wedding day. But when you have a written list, you will be able to track all the tasks and tick anyone that you have done.

So, the first thing you must do is to thrash out issues such as the whats', wheres', hows' and whens' of the wedding with your future spouse and/or family members. Also, make sure that responsibilities are broken up. A wedding budget is very important and you and your partner must design one that you should prioritized into ‘indispensable', ‘optional' and ‘nice to have' and the priorities should be written down.

The next thing that you must decide upon is the date of the wedding and the minister. Also, you must draw up the list of wedding guests and the number of the guests to be invited. The two must be the same.

The venue of the wedding is another thing you must deliberate upon. But this will be largely determined by whether you want the wedding to take place in a church or elsewhere. If you want the former venue, then it is advisable to see the minister in charge in order to know if the church will be available on the proposed date. But if you want to have it elsewhere, then are many venues out there to choose from. It is advisable to narrow the list to just three and then start your research from that. Moreover, booking the venue as early as possible is highly recommended. There are venues that offer full service and there are others that are mainly for rental purpose only. If you go with the latter, it means that you must decide upon the catering, floral arrangement as well as music. This calls for visiting as many wedding vendors as possible. Ensure you compare and contrast their rates and service before choosing any particular one.

In order to prevent any last minuet glitches, make sure that you get your wedding dress fittings and beauty appointments in hand. Also, make sure that the wedding invitation is dispatched to invited guests at least two weeks before the event.

It is advisable that you sought for and get the help of trusted family members or friends and assign specific responsibility to each of them. You will not get exhausted and stressed out if you employ this method. So, I urge you to follow these tips and you will make your wedding day a memorable one.
