In the end, prom should be a night to say goodbye to a lot of close friends and the last chance to have some fun in high school so make the most of it.
Let us say that you have around five hundred dollars in order to do this thing. That means you can spend about half of this money on a dress that will blow the entire school away. After the affordable prom dresses and the shoes that match, all you need to worry about transportation and you have to decide who you want to go with. Dinner is also a rather big decision and you should not choose a place that has multiple restaurants in multiple states. This means a special small place where the food and service is unique. It might seem like a great idea to get a limo and ride into the prom with all your friends, but it isn't as great as you would think. Many things get messed up in the limo like your hair and your dress. Stupid boys will get drunk and it might turn into a mess. Renting a nice sports car is a little more expensive if it's not split between so many people, but it will make the night a lot more memorable.
Planning the perfect prom can be quite difficult considering how old you are and the fact that you are probably a little short on the cash at the seventeen to eighteen demographic. Provided that your parents are good people and have decided to give you a fairly nice allowance for this night, it shouldn't be too hard to plan the perfect night of dinner, dancing, prom dresses, and after midnight shenanigans.
Whether it has been so long since your senior prom that you don't remember what color dress you wore or it's coming up in a year or two, it is always going to be a memory that you will look back on for the rest of your life. And whether you wore a discount prom dress or a designer gown from a famous designer, it won't matter after a few years, not even a little, because the memory will be the same no matter what you wear. But if your prom is actually coming up, the dress you wear is the most important thing on your mind other than your date.
