In this article I'd like to talk about how to recover from heartbreak. I know, it's NOT an easy topic, right? If you've EVER been in love, you know the pain and anguish that a bad breakup can leave. Not only do you feel overwhelmed with pain, it's easy to become SO depressed that you simply find yourself sinking into a deeper and darker hole of despair. If you are feeling this way right now, or fear that you MIGHT in the near future, there are some things you can do. Let's take a quick look at some of them below! Tip#1: Get Involved! One of the keys that I always recommend to people who are feeling the crushing weight of heartbreak is to give back! Sounds goofy, right? Well it may...but it DOES work. Simply allowing yourself to extend to people in need is an excellent way of lifting your OWN spirits as well....ALL while doing good to boot! Tip #2: Schedule "Down" Time Sounds a bit unorthodox, right? Schedule time to be down? Yes - it is, but it's VERY effective too! Simply allowing yourself the luxury of planned, scheduled blocks of time where you can emote, cry, feel sorry for yourself, whatever it is that you need to release, can be therapeutic and very healing. The key here is forcing yourself to be productive and proactive when you are NOT in this mind frame, sort of like the dieter who works HARD to lose weight all week because she knows she has a cheat day on Sunday..:-) Tip#3: You ARE What You Consume Your external world is a direct reflection of the emotions you feel, as well as the ingredients you take in to your body. Want to feel REALLY bad about your situation? Continue to eat bad foods. Want to take control of your emotional well being, simply start by balancing your body - your hormones, your mindset and your vitality CAN and are influenced by natural herbs and ingredients that can be of a tremendous aid in your time of emotional need. Simply learning WHAT and when to feed your spirit is the very FIRST step back to a place of inner light, happiness, better health and a vitality you can see!
