Why do you feel stress?



It is almost always because you think you have to do things for other people. Stress about your job, stress because of your relationship, stress because of your children. And when the stress comes from your study, you do it for yourself, but also to not disappoint others.



And that is because we are human beings. We don't live solitary lives. We have to deal with others. And many of us forget to take care of ourselves. That means that we don't respect ourselves.



So in order to solve our stress it is better to stimulate our self esteem. As soon as you can, take time for yourself. And when you think you don't have time, that's bad news. Then you really should take time to rest. Because if you don't, you will learn the hard way what lack of self esteem can lead to. You could get a nervous breakdown. So please take some time for yourself.



There are many things you can do and I already gave you a lot of advice. But the best and the easiest advice I can give you is this: Take a few days for yourself and just be lazy. That's it. Maybe you don't know any more what it is, being lazy, because you always work too hard.



How to be lazy?



Stay in bed for a long time. Take a nice warm bath. Do nothing. Is that annoying? Yes. It's a good thing to get annoyed. When this is too hard for you and you just want to do something. (Cleaning?) Then take a book of at least 800 pages. If you don't like to read, then take a Harry Potter book. Install yourself on the couch or in a hammock and just read until you have finished it. Let somebody else do the cooking for you. That is being lazy.



What that has to do with self esteem? Well, it is like this: Self esteem here means giving yourself total rest, because your mind and your body deserve it. You are important. And you can decide to simply do nothing.
