There are a number of people who could benefit from the use of a foot in the tub. Seniors, people with mobility problems and even "baby boomers" seeking to ensure your place every year can benefit from having a door in his bathtub.

One of the drawbacks, "to such a bath is the fact that the user can not fill the bath until the door is closed and can not leave until the water has drained. The fact that the user can get chilled during these times seems to be a major impediment to the purchase of a foot in the tub.

There are some very simple solutions:

Look for a tub with a low water volume. Many of the rides in bathtubs on the market are quite large and, although they are very beautiful and welcoming, with more water and therefore have more time to fill and empty. There are a few smaller ones walk in the bathtub on the market that requires only water as a bath soon and that people with capacity of up to 300 pounds or more than 6 feet tall. As a bonus, these smaller tubs are also less expensive to operate as the necessary amount of hot water is considerably lower.

Install a heat lamp over the bath. New heat lamps in the technology market use infrared heating allows the use of small bulbs. These new bulbs have a longer life than the past and the heat instantly. By installing a heat lamp above your bath, you and your bathroom will be warm in the few minutes it takes to fill and empty the foot in the tub.

Wrap yourself in warm towels. Consider buying new, plush towels to wrap yourself in warmth and comfort when you have finished bathing. You can also heat the towels before use. hot towel bars are a great addition to any bathroom. They are affordable and can add beauty as well. They come in a variety of finishes and can be wall mounted, floor mounted, or hard wired. Once you have one you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Consider your security, the need for cleanliness, and relaxation that provides a bathroom as the most important issues and do not let "I'll be cold" serve as an excuse that prevents you or someone you love to have the safe bathing. For more information about walk in tubs please visit
