How to Succeed in Life
Here are some great tips for being motivated to do better with your life
Turn failures around– there is no point in falling down unless you are going to stand up and learn from it. Learning from failures is essential in order to become successful in life. People who do not learn from falling down or failing, more often than not do not ever go on to become something more. The funny thing about failure is that if you fall down, and don't learn, then you have failed. However, if you fall down, and learn, then you have succeeded.
Challenge the idea of a dead future– if you believe you will have no future, then you will have. People who understand what they are worth, what their potential is and what they are capable of, will reach out into the world and see unlimited potential to achieve things. People who look at life and see nothing worthwhile end up meandering life away in meaningless things. Look to your future and ask yourself – where do I want to be?
Get out of those bad friend circles– if you have friend's circles where people are doing drugs, drinking, throwing their life away with pointless escapades, then you may wish to consider changing circles. Friends who wish to do something with their life always seem to be busy achieving things. You will hear them moving forward opening doors and becoming successful.
The thing with people that don't do this is that they spend most of their time sitting on the bench doing nothing but dream of things that they want. To find people who want to go places is relatively easy, because the moment you find out what you want to do, you start to look for people subconsciously who want to do the same thing. It is the natural process of gravitation. We want to be in the company of people who are like us.
Find people and things that inspire you– every person in life who has achieved something has had someone inspire them. The thing with being inspired is that you have to honestly be inspired. You cannot just look at something and say, I'm going to be inspired now. It has to come from the heart, when you honestly look at something and say, hey, that's amazing. When you find things like this and they inspire you to do better, that's great. When you find things that you don't like that do the opposite, that too is great. There have been great men that have created great lives based off of people they didn't want to be like. For instance, Warren Buffet would go to wall street not to pick stocks, but to watch people make mistakes.
It is easy to not be your best. But it is even easier, with practice, to be your best often. Why let average be what you judge your life by? Strive to excel and be your best, even when you don't believe you are going to succeed. Have a little blind faith and life can work out in some amazing ways. Just don't forget to try, because a lack of trying ends up causing us more heartache down the road when we pull the pin too early and don't give things a fair go.
