Probably everybody reading this article is currently suffering from acne. Most of the teens get acne - be it a little zit, a face covered in pimples, or the worst case scenario - The Cystic Acne. So how to treat acne permanently? First, in order to treat acne we must understand the factors that lead to the apparition of this skin condition.

What's The Root Cause For Acne?

There are a few major factors that contribute to the apparition of acne. Teens get acne because of hormonal imbalance in their puberty. Sebaceous glands produce more skin oil called sebum. Mix that with dirt and dust from the polluted environment and we have clogged pores. Each clogged pore leads to infection and that infection causes pimples and zits to appear all over an acne sufferer's face.

Another factor that lead to acne are: bad diet (junk-food, fast-food, processed foods etc), bad self-care (touching face with dirty hand or not washing hands often?), stress, side-effects from some medications and the list goes on.

How To Treat Acne - The Basics

Acne can be cured successfully in many different ways, ranging from medications, creams, spot treatments, laser surgery but the best way to treat acne, be it 1-2 zits or the whole cystic is using natural methods. Most over the counter products don't solve the root problem of acne, they just diminish its appearance. To treat acne for good you must go the natural way. First, do not touch your face with your dirty hands. Wash both your face and hands often. In the morning and right before going to bed is mandatory. Throughout the day 2-3 times if you have the time. If you did anything that involved excessive sweating you might consider doing a full scrub at least once every day.

Do not pick the pimples or squeeze them. Let them be! Drink water to keep your skin hydrated enough at all times, at least 8 glasses / day that is the equivalent of 2L. It flushes the toxins from your body and keeps the skin hydrated. Wash your pillow case every few days is highly recommended. It builds up dirt, grease, oil, bacteria which all lead to the apparition of blemishes on your face. There you have the basics on how to treat acne. The above tips and tricks should give you a good start.

You can also always use a natural acne cure to clear you skin.

Natural treatments have been proven to be a lot more effective to cure acne . Besides, they are relatively cheap and readily available and the risk of side effects are very minimal. To get a complete list of guides on how to cure acne then go visit our website now ==>
