Many women that go through a painful breakup want to know how to win him back but feel powerless to change things. This feeling of being out of control can send you into state of depression and panic that can be overwhelming at times. What can you do to save your relationship? You're not helpless... there are specific things you can do that will improve your chances of getting back together, but you must avoid the mistakes that almost all women make.

You've probably heard the expression "people want what they can't have." To a certain degree this is true, especially with men. Men tend to be attracted to a woman that is not entirely available. The opposite is also true... a man will tend to take for granted a woman that throws herself at him. He can't help it... it's just human nature.

Ask yourself if you've been acting pushy, needy or desperate to get back together with him. Have you been doing any of the following behaviors?

- Calling all the time

- Arguing about the relationship

- Sending love letters or emails

- Trying to talk him into giving you a second chance

- Promising that you'll change

- Showing up at where he is

These types of behaviors come across as desperate, and your ex is put off by this. It's only pushing him away and making him resistant to getting back together.

The first thing you must do if you want to learn how to win him back, is stop trying so hard and give him some space. Break off all contact for a while. The time off will allow you to clear you head and get grounded, and it will give him a chance to miss you. There is no way he can miss you if you're always after him.

During this break you should stay busy doing activities you enjoy and concentrate on improving yourself. After a while, your ex will start thinking about you and wondering why you've stopped chasing after him. Usually you'll see a dramatic change in how he acts towards you because you've allowed him to naturally start missing you. Now he will be much more open to getting back together with you. This is the most effective strategy if you want to learn how to win him back with the least amount of frustration and struggle.

Can you win him back ? Yes... but only if you avoid the common mistakes almost EVERYONE makes. Check out more free tips on EXACTLY what to do and say to get your boyfriend back in your arms (even if you are the only one trying.)
