Knowing how to accessorize and being creative with your fashion style used to be an activity that is limited by your own imagination. With the emergence of the internet, the celebrity paparazzi and fashion blogs have given the public a free catalogue to newer and fresher looks. An example of what you can find on the net is how to wrap a shawl in different ways. More often than not, one can only think of so many ways to do this but with the internet, their creativity is greatly expanded.

Wrapping it around your neck and maybe tying it up in a knot are the more commonly known way of wrapping a shawl. Although those are still quite fashionable nowadays, since then, so many more expressive and creative ways of using a shawl have popped up. People have gone beyond their limits and dared to be bold which has created new avenues of style and fashion.

One new way of how to wrap a shawl is to get a short one and wrap it around your whole arm. In a way, the effect makes it seem like you have a sleeve patterned after the design of your shawl. Stereotypically, using a shawl in such a way can be considered very street and funky. Often you will see break dancing performers sporting this look as it is very eye catching.

For others though, another way of how to wrap a shawl is to do the same thing as mentioned above but this time around your leg. There are many variations of this as you can put it under your shorts, over it, over your pants and sometimes wrap only a portion of your leg. Again, often you will see break dancers and wearing this kind of get up as it is very funky.

The two ways mentioned are very popular with renowned dance groups such as the Jabbawockeez and solo performers such as Chris Brown and the like. Because of this, children and other fans have picked up on the trend and tried to imitate the fashion sense of their idols. In effect, using shawls in this way has become mainstream among groups such as these.

Moving on, one unique way of how to wrap a shawl is to wrap it around your whole torso. Usually, girls use this when on the beach. It gives off a very fresh and tropical vibe that is very appropriate for the beach setting. Nowadays though, some daring people have gone on to use this way of wrapping even during casual events. Just make sure that the shawl design is sophisticated enough and not too bright colored and you will easily be able to pull off the look.

There are so many different ways of using a shawl and one should never be limited to their imagination. Especially now when resources are readily available through the internet, people should make use of them and make the most out of it. Everyday there are picture blogs of fashionably daring people and it would not hurt to draw inspiration from them. At first their style may seem awkward and out of this world, but that is always how trends begin.

When you see a unique way of wrapping a shawl or even a unique way of using an accessory, do not be afraid to give it a shot. All you need is the confidence to bring it and you should have no problem. The generation of today is all about expressing your uniqueness so get out there and do it.
