How can I stop my panic attacks today, so many of us have asked that same question over and over again.

Panic attacks have been described as an onset of apprehension and fear. Your breathing becomes erratic, you have a tightening of the chest thinking perhaps you may be having a heart attack. Sweating is another symptom for panic attack, fear of losing control, feeling lost and sometimes embarrassed that it is happening. People tend to sometimes take drugs or drink alcohol or even eat to excess which only have a very temporary solution to help them cope but that always has its problems as well.

Talking to someone else has an added benefit of focusing your mind on something other than the attack itself, make sure you have someone that is not judgemental and is also sympathetic also talking allows you to release that tension and not feel so up tight. Don't forget that you are not alone millions of people are effected in one way or another.

Learning how to control it is really important. If you are able to know the symptoms before it comes on and what will work for you to stop it then you will be in control rather than the other way around. Do some research on what may have triggered the attack so that if you come across that situation again you know what to do and how to prepare yourself.

Panic attacks tend to take over your life and make you feel miserable that you cannot work or enjoy being with your family There are quite a few techniques to help you before panic attacks happen, breathing exercises, yoga, long walks, professional counselling perhaps.

Just don't let it take over your life, as life is too short.
