It is probably a rough time in your life if you have just gone through a boyfriend break up.  You are most certainly sad and feeling pretty sick and you likely want to know what caused the boyfriend break up.

Don't use up a lot of time sitting around thinking that there must be something wrong with your life or looking into yourself too much.  You may waste time doing that simply because the truth is your boyfriend break up was because your boyfriend had his own issues.  The old saying, "It's you and not me" probably applies to him.

It is better to spend your time trying to get your ex boyfriend back.  If you do plan on doing just that there are some minor rules to begin following.

*It is just fine to flirt with other guys in your ex's presence.  A little jealousy won't hurt him and may make him curious about getting you back.

*Since you have undergone a boyfriend break up it means you aren't seeing him much and probably want to call him or text him all the time.  Don't do it, as it may ruin your chances of him taking you back.

*Eventually you will get back together for a trial date.  When this happens be kind and pleasant and don't pressure him for more dates or to take you back.

In some cases you may get the gut feeling that, since your boyfriend break up, your ex doesn't really want you back at all and there is no chance of it.  If that is the case then you should probably move on.

One of the fastest ways to get closure after a boyfriend break up is to write him a fake letter.  Sit down and write a letter containing all your complaints toward him and also talking about the fun you had.  Get it all off your chest and then burn the letter.  Certainly don't mail it since you are only using it as a method of closure.

You probably still have some of your ex boyfriends stuff, like a t-shirt or two, sweat pants, toothbrushes, etc.  You should do a property exchange right away, so that you can get all the items that remind you of him out of your life.  If there are any gifts laying around that you had given him, store them someplace where you are not looking at them.  Now is also the time to straighten any money arrangements up like joint bank accounts.

The next thing to do is to agree not to communicate for a period of time.  Try it for 30 days.  It won't be easy but you will need it to give each other space.  You are trying to wipe out the old relationship by doing these things.  This will make it easy to start a new relationship with him when you go to try to get him back.

A boyfriend break up is very painful at times, but you can survive it with some of these tips.  It is not the end of your life.  Many women look at it as a time of getting themselves back together so they can meet their true soul mate.

But you should never conclude that just because you had a boyfriend break up that you now have no chance of getting him back.  If that is what you want then you should make a good plan to do so following some proven methods. True love can survive a boyfriend break up.
