The definition of insomnia is a state of not being able to fall asleep or sleep through the night. Unfortunately, many people wage a battle with insomnia each and every night, and are looking for some insomnia remedies. If this describes you, you might want to consider going to a doctor, though there are a number of things you can do in the short term to get the rest you need and deserve. Other people only suffer from occasional bouts with insomnia. Whether you are suffering from insomnia each and every night, or only every once in a while, you definitely want to find a natural cure. If you are relying on sleeping pills to get more sleep, you are only causing more problems for yourself in the long run, because they carry side effects, most notably the fact that they are very addictive. There are a whole host of natural insomnia remedies that you should consider trying. One idea is to take a warm bath before you head off for bed. You should pour Epson salt into your bath tub. What Epson salt will do is remove toxin from your body. Taking a warm bath with Epson salt will make you relaxed and help you fall asleep. Another example of the interesting insomnia remedies you might want to try is to listen to music before going to sleep. But be careful what you choose. No death metal, okay? You want to make sure to listen to something nice and soothing. For a full list of insomnia remedies , check out Jeff Farley's book Stop Insomnia here .
