Believe it or not, the odds are in your favor that your wife is trying to replace you with another man. This means you can put your fears about "is my cheating wife trying to replace me?" to rest.

The most likely answer is that your wife may not even be aware of the deep down burning reason she is cheating. What she does know is that the other man makes her feel good about herself.

That doesn't mean that your wife doesn't love you or even that you make her feel bad about herself. It just means that she has a need, whether she knows the specifics or not, that isn't being met at home and the other man seems to be meeting those needs.

Where does this leave my marriage?

That's a good question. Obviously, most marriages won't survive long with one partner stepping out or cheating. The average couple just isn't the open minded or good at sharing.

You need to find a way to keep your wife from cheating or you need to consider letting her go. The good news is that there are things you can do that will keep your cheating wife safe at home night after night.

How do I keep my wife from cheating?

There are few absolutes in the world but this is one absolute you can bank on. If your wife is happy, truly and deliriously happy in the marriage, she won't cheat on you.

What you need to do is figure out what it will take to make your wife happy. Now guys, we like to make a big production on how hard it is to figure out what a girl wants or what she needs. It really isn't.

You make it much harder than it needs to be. What a girl really wants from her husband is to feelappreciated. It will make all the difference in the world to her and how she views your marriage.

So how you make her feel appreciated so she won't cheat?

That's the eighty million dollar question isn't it?

Wait for it.

You make her feel appreciated by showing your appreciation.

You don't have to buy a new car, expensive jewelry, or even bring flowers home every night for the average woman.

But what you will get is a ton of attention, respect, and those little lovey-dovey hearts showing up in her eyes. All you have to do is to say "thank you!" when she does something nice for you.

Think about all the little things she does for you day in and day out:

  • Picks up the dry cleaning
  • Washes dishes
  • Cooks dinner
  • Packs your lunch
  • Sets the coffee pot
  • Does laundry
  • Cleans house
  • Balances the checkbook
  • Buys Christmas and birthday gifts for your mom

The list could go on and on. Don't you think a "thank you" every now and then is a small price to pay? It will make her feel confident that you are noticing and acknowledging your efforts and will give her strength when that other man comes along (as they always seem to do) and attempts to turn her head.
