It just happened once that once a question arose amongst me and my friends, while our genuine talks in the class room that after few months we are going to attain the status and dignity of adult citizens of our country, though all may not like to call it a symbol of dignity, we are going to be 18. for some it was just  a matter of happiness that they can get their driving license, can go around will get a bit more of freedom, some said that life is going to be hard struggle for a good university, then after that getting a job and then getting our self engaged in the daily choirs of household. But suddenly one of us came up and said," Hey are you guys going to vote????"

Just a simple question but different answers some said who cares it doesn't matters, some said who is going to miss out on a holiday, and their were few to agree to the fact that yes our vote does counts. But Alas! It was just a few people who were on the side of those going to vote. And not the surprise they were mocked and subjected to a big round of laughs all around. This not just about me and my friends but every teenager who is now going to be not only an adult but an integral part of democratic India as well, we think that now it's the time for us to enjoy, relax, have hangouts, go for parties, have blasts with friends, enjoy more freedom and we get the license to live our life the way we want! Who denies, yes definitely the time is for us to live the most enjoyable part of our life.

But within these moments of our life we need to realize the fact that now we have a role to play in the governance of our country our decisions, our deeds do make a difference, being the educated and knowledgeable section of our country our part in the society does not ends in organizing parties and having hangouts, but we need to realize the fact that we have a bigger role to play.

We need to accept our belongingness to our country. Our environment, care for resources, love and adore our fellow citizens, respect our national identities and symbol, have concern about the issues of our country like energy crises, poverty, terrorism, illiteracy. And most important of all, is to realize our importance for duties of a citizen of free India, developing India, democratic India, incredible India!

The above written few words are not any special pious things but a very common things that we keep on listening from our parents, teachers, political leaders, we read it in almost every second article, every literature book, but still our ignorance overpowers our responsibilities every time, this is just an urge from teenager to his friends all over the country to realize the need of hour and make our life an asset for our country, what has to be done is well known to everyone, what it requires is just an ignition, that we our self have to produce. Let us all make our India the India of our dreams, and the dreams of every single person ever born in this pious land. JAI HIND!!!!
