We had a lovely little communion party for our daughter. I wanted to give out communion favors that would have a religious theme to them. The gifts in the shops I went to just didn’t strike my fancy. Then I thought about going online to shop for party favors. There were quite a few lovely votive candles that worked out perfectly for table decoration. There were also candy tins that were perfect to set out on the tables for our adult guests and little teddy bear containers with candies for the children’s communion party favors . I found the most lovely little picture frames with crosses on them and decided to get everyone an extra gift. I liked them so much, I bought two more for myself. Shopping for her communion dress was like a rehearsal for the future. I know that day isn’t as far ahead of us as I would like it to be. All she needed was a little bouquet and she would look exactly like a tiny little bride. I guess in a way when you are planning a communion party it’s a little bit like planning a wedding reception. Just like at a reception, there was the decorated cake, a band for dancing and foods of all kinds to enjoy. We didn’t want to lose the fact of the importance of this special day, but we also wanted to make this party a memorable one. I also bought a girls pink photo album for her to have as her very own with pictures of her first holy communion day and the party with her friends and family. Like I said before we wanted to keep things as simple as possible and not go overboard, so me and some of the other moms made the food, and the only thing I ordered for it was the cake. We had fried chicken, potato salad, vegetables and a few different types of salads. Just a nice dinner to share with our friends and loved ones. It turned out to be a very nice evening and everyone seemed to have a good time, including our daughter. Her father and I had her name engraved on a beautiful gold cross we ordered for her, and there were many wonderful communion gifts she received from our guests, too. All during the party I was picturing her wedding day and I could see my little girl walking down the aisle to join her husband to be. Someday, not too far away, we’ll be filling out invitations and picking out wedding accessories together. When that day comes, at least I’ll have a heads up on where to find the supplies and accessories she’ll need. They have so much to offer in first communion favors and it’s the best place to shop, there is also whole line of wedding accessories. She’ll have plenty of accessories and wedding favors to choose from at my favorite online shopping site. There is even more than communions and weddings to check out too. This online shopping spot will come in handy in the future when I have to plan for birthdays, graduations and other important events. You can plan a great bridal or baby shower, or have a fantastic girls night out party with all the super accessories and suggestions they have to offer. There were even fantastic accessories for themed weddings like, beach, winter wonderland, country western and so many more. There is also accessories for themed showers, birthday parties and more. That’s why I’m hanging on to my online shopping site, I know I’ll be using it quite often.
