Our Lord Jesus Christ firmly exclaims “Do not judge, or you too will be judge. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judge, and with the measure you use, it will be measure to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out your eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:5-7 NIV).

Judging means criticizing or condemning someone for something they do.

I firmly advised you dear readers to read this article and you will be blessed!

Jesus tells us to examine ourselves first before looking unto others. By focusing to ourselves, I firmly believe, we can easily comprehend who we are and easily point out the weak area and eventually can encourage and motivate our self to refine our attitude, character and relationship with other people enable to spread the love and kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ commented “therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash” (Matthew 7:24-27 NIV).

Dear readers, action speaks louder than words! Therefore beginning today, encourages as well as challenges yourself to try this. On a small index card write “I said something good.” On the other side write, “I said something bad.” Carry the card with you for a whole day. Every time you say something to a person, make a check mark on the side of the card that fits your words. At the end of the day add up the check that marks on each side. How did you do?

Always remember to look for the good in other people. If you say anything, say something that will make another person feel happier or better about themselves.

Remember, you shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore you can do or any kindness you can show to any human being let you do it now. Let you not defer or neglect it for you shall not pass this way again!

“Instead of criticizing and condemning others,” Ellen G. White says, “I must work out my own salvation. If I co-operate with Him who desires to save my soul, I must watch myself diligently. I must become a new creature in Christ. Then, instead of weakening those who are striving against evil, I can strengthen by encouraging words.”

She adds, “We are too indifferent in regard to one another. Too often we forget that our fellow laborers are in need of strength and sympathy. Help them by your prayers, and let them know that you do it.”

In other words, instead of giving stings to your family, relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, encourage yourself to give them a honey. Always remember to encourage and motivate yourself to inculcate these words in your heart and mind when you are alone:

Dear Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; Where there is hatred, let me show love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light Where there is sadness, joy; Where there is an idle tongue, help me to keep away from them.

In conclusion, if you really want be a successor in life, then don’t wait and look to anyone to motivate you, but look at your inner soul, as it’s your best motivator!

The writer firmly encourages you dear readers, start now to become a blessing to others. You can make this world a little bit better by setting yourself as a good example in words and indeed to your family, relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

Be a salt and a light in this world!

Wish you many blessings to come and God bless!
