Ah, if it was only that simple. Life is much more than playing by the rules, obeying the law, and being moral. Don't hear that I am suggesting any of those are unimportant; it's just that they are only the deposit to help you get in the game and play. Way too many people have "followed the rules" and been tragically burnt (their assessment).

Have you ever asked yourself, "Why am I doing this?".

Have you realized that children don't respond happily to the query about "why", when our answer is "Because I said so, that's why?"

The myth of Parsifal and the Quest for the Grail are a common thread in nearly every culture. It's our story, and the messages and meanings are manifold. We have made too many a vow, quickly jumped into too many soul pledges, and accepted agreements that we should not. In fact, we're bound to many a vow that remains unconscious. Parsifal wanders in life missing a life with Blanche Fleur and other opportunities because of the promises to his mother. He promised to wear her homespun garment, never ask questions, and to respect fair maidens.

If you're not familiar with the long-held myth then consider this.

When a mother has worked for eight years to be righteous in all of her ways and her daughter is killed in a car wreck, the questions flood from her heart-broken speech. "Where's the abundant life I was promised, why am I not more than a conqueror, and so on." When the LAW has been so preached that it has become the goal, even unconsciously, a deep void fills ones life.

The aspirations that have defined the American experience - that those who work hard and play by the rules can get ahead, and that the next generation will have a better life than this one - have been battered by a devastating recession that shows few signs of having hit bottom. Everywhere you turn the ILLUSIONS are falling apart.

It's only when we discover our true IDENTITY that anything makes sense.

We are spirit beings. We are ONE with ALL. This current physical life that we live can't be satisfied with only OUTER approaches, forms, creeds, doctrines, and band aids. Those things can hinder as well as help, but they are part of the physical MATRIX within which we currently live. There is a deeper and eternal life, a life where "just obey the rules" doesn't suffice.

Comprende?  :-)
