Killer Ways to Understanding Body Language

Many people are able to express themselves through body language in various ways. If they get upset from something someone said or done, they will express that in actions.

Do you know that only 7% of the messages to be delivered are delivered through words? And 93% delivered by the unspoken gestures or so-called body language?

Do you also know that 55% unspoken expressions are conveyed through your body movements, your facial expressions and eye contact? While the remaining 38% are covered by the tone of your voice?

Unfortunately, what is happening in our daily lives and our dealings with each other is exactly the opposite as we focus on the expressions and hear the spoken rather than focus on the unspoken messages transmitted through body language.

Analyzing body language is an important step in understanding the hidden messages that people try to convey through their bodies. A person who walks erectly shows that he is confident. Someone who sits with his legs open shows that he is open, relaxed, and comfortable with himself. Someone who has his hand on his cheek means that he is thinking about something.

Language of the eyes:

The eyes are the most parts of us humans that reveal what we mean. If you look at the eyes of someone directly, that gives strong impression on the degree of honesty of the person. Who has not used the statement "look into my eyes" to ensure the honesty and sincerity of the person? Liars tend to look everywhere, except directly into your eyes if they are lying.

It is known that when the person thinks about a past event, he will look up then to the left. Whoever thinks about the future or prepares to say something, most likely, will look up then to the right. If when you ask someone about a past experience and looks up to the right, mostly likely he is lying to you.

If you notice while you are speaking to someone that he puts his hands on his mouth or starts rubbing his eyes, then most likely he does not believe what you are saying.

Facial Expression:

Studies show that there are seven facial expressions of the face which are anger, fear, sadness, disgust, happiness, surprise, and resentment. It is worth mentioning that these expressions are quick and change during the conversation, or with changing attitudes. If someone is angry, for example, we can tell by the person's facial expression.

Studying body languagehelps you understand what someone is thinking and feeling. You will learn to read the hidden messages behind the words. You would learn to know when someone is lying and when someone is telling the truth.
