Not being able to last last longer in bed is an age old issue for men.It refers to ejaculating before you or your partner achieve complete satisfaction. This affects many men and is one of the most common problems in the sexual life of couples. Statistics reveal that 4 out of 10 men face this problem and it of course cannot be termed as a disability or a disease. The main reasons that can be attributed to the problem are sexual excitement, anxiety and over stimulation. This is more common in men who have not had any sexual activity for a long time or in young men  who are discovering sex.

The anxiety about your performance in bed is one of the most important reasons which can be attributed to early ejaculation. This leads to frustration due to non satisfaction thus, it is advisable to discuss with your partner. An easy way to avoid this is to distract yourself when you have an erection. When the climax is beginning one should take a deep breath and think about something else which is of less interest. This will make you less aroused and it will be easy for you to maintain the erection for long. Another way is to withdraw the penis when you are closer to the climax. Relax for sometime before continuing and this way you can prolong the sex activity.

Studies reveal that a lot of foreplay is helpful in preventing this. One can also use desensitizing creams or two to three condoms to decrease the sensitivity and thus the stimulation. To get more confidence one should masturbate so that you are aware of the sensations and the feelings.
