<!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> Tired of trying to quit smoking & having an unsuccessful experience? Actually, this is very normal, never give up! No one claimed that quitting smoking is an easy task, but no one ever tells you that you have to have several unsuccessful trials before you achieve your goal and quit smoking. Just hold on to your reasons of cutting down that bad habit, and remember always you're doing this for good, so this is a list of tips that would be of use to you next time you try to quit smoking, I'm sure it'll help! Here they are: Search for someone, maybe a friend or neighbor who also wants to quit smoking. It is better if this person lives with you so you'll be watching each other more often (recommended only for those who are serious), this friend will help you overcome your desire to smoke when you sometimes will need someone to talk with, some encouragement & support each other.
Get rid of your smoking stuff! Ashtrays, lighters, cigarette boxes or anything that might be related to smoking, Seeing these things around keeps you thinking of smoking and now that you're beginning a new life, you need a change like this. If you can't do it yourself, ask for a friend's help.
Force yourself to hate cigarettes by buying bad tasting cigarettes, so once you feel you need to smoke you can choose between not to smoke at all or to smoke it and hate it. You may also try to take out the saran wrap, and begin wrapping these cigarettes once again, now you have to exert much effort to smoke.
Don't hang out too much with any of your smoker friends, at least for a short period at the beginning, because involving much in such environments may make you yearn to the bad habit. Keep the non smoker buddies closer.
