Learning, Leadership and Problem solving: Life Through games. Part Six
Hasan Yahya, Ph.Ds
Part Six: We all as human beings, have five senses. However, the extraordinary sixth sense for any person isempathy when s/he experience a horrible thing. It is a rare ability to see harm or hurt in others that many others do not see. Experience is important in human life. What we as human being experience by seeing, doing, and touching never be forgotten. We might be empathetic persons, but we don’t claim any unusually high empathetic sensitivity. On a more practical level, when I see emotional weaknesses or hurting, we should be exceptionally capable of helping others resolve those issues. Interacting, I believe can help in sharing games.
Participants may be able to “see problems,” A gift from an educator or counselor is probablynotso much in helping others resolve the problem before them, on a one-on-one basis. Their gifts, is more likely lie in telling participants in the game to discuss all aspects of the issue involved in the game. I believe, such practice would be possibly healthy response to reflect in healthy way. In this part, you may ask the group to describe themselves if they live alone, after everybody left this earth. How they act or react? How they describe their feelings? How to survive? What type of life would be? And so on.
Or go back to reality and ask, what to invent? and how to sell and get money, with a specific price? How to market it? For whom? Who’s the best to market it? What volume of production? Who are the customers? Where you will use your money when you get rich? What you will do when you get rich? say a millionaire. Ask the group to describe what employments needed to enlarge your business. What jobs you create to manage your business. And what fields of special knowledge you need? Say engineering, accounting, designing, project managing, administrating, evaluating, reporting and human resources counseling. Ask the group to specify the company needs, personnel, materials, furniture, buildings, workshops. Ask the group to create a state, a government, with legislative, judicial, and executive branches.
Divide the members into three divisions: services, suppliers, and costumers. Innovation has no limits. And the strange ideas may be real. In the past people dreamed to fly. They did after so many years. They dreamed to communicate fast, to travel fast, to increase productivity, to increase food on earth. To encourage of reduce migration between nations. To have wars and make peace. Leadership can be learned. And every person can be as he/she prefers to be. As they say, the sky is the limit. Let the kids in the schools and universities find their way to learn to live and make their lives much better than what it is. (If you like what you read, and find it simulating, or interesting, share the ideas with other peers and friends.) (522 words)
