Fear is an ugly thing, isn't it? I'm not talking about ignoring the on-coming traffic and walking right into the middle of the highway. You should be afraid of an oncoming traffic. That is a legitimate fear and by recognizing it you can save your life. No, I'm talking about the other kind of fear. The one where you worry if your friends will think your new blue dress looks stupid, and if they think your dress is stupid then maybe they'll think you're stupid and...well, you get the picture

This is what I like to call the "opinions of others" stupid. You worry if your friend will get mad because of a comment you made. You're afraid your Aunt Maisie doesn't think your casserole is as good as your sister. You're afraid your neighbors will think that the flowers you just planted in front of your house aren't the right color.

I'm not saying that the opinions of others shouldn't matter. But they should only matter if you want them to. You might want to worry about your casserole if you're going to culinary school. But if you're not what's the difference! You might want to rethink the blue dress if you're becoming a fashion designer, but if not, who cares? And if your comment about your friend wasn't something that you shouldn't have said, well then apologize and move on. Nobody's perfect and we all make mistakes. But to spend hours worrying about these things-not worth it!

We are on this earth to be happy, and the Law of Attraction states that what we think about we get. If you fear you'll get more thing sent your way to be afraid of. Cut yourself some slack. There's no reason to run around everyday shaking in your boots because you think you'll say or do the wrong thing.

Get up in the morning and look in the mirror say to yourself "I am a worthy person and i deserve the best. I will go through my day expecting the best and doing my best. I send positive thoughts to all those around me as well."

Try it, it works! And you'll feel alot better for it, and you deserve to feel great!
