The Law of Attraction and its correct application can bring you anything you desire. Anything can be yours. But somehow it does not work. Why is that? The reason is certain limiting beliefs, which chain your mind and prevent you from achieving the success you want. This article discusses exactly how to get rid of these limiting beliefs.
Before we discuss how to eliminate the limiting beliefs, let us look at what exactly these limiting beliefs are. For example, let us say that you want to be rich. But deep inside you have the belief that "rich people are bad." Now this is a limiting belief. It limits you from becoming rich because you don't want to be bad, so you sabotage yourself from becoming rich. Well, not you consciously, but your subconscious mind does on a deeper level. Anyways, the end result is that you are stuck at your current state and can not become rich. So how can you eliminate a limiting belief.
The key with eliminating a negative belief is to recognize it for what it is - a thing of the past. It was created by your past conditioning. Therefore, it does not have to be in your life forever - you can eliminate it, if you choose to do so.
Now we come to the key point in this article, and that is how to eliminate limiting beliefs. There is one technique, which is called the EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique. As you can infer from its name, this technique aims to free you of any emotional limitations, and this is exactly what a limiting belief is - an emotional limitation.
The Emotional Freedom Technique employs tapping on several key body points. Through tapping on these points and reciting the negative belief and describing it in lengths, you become comfortable with this belief. Most importantly, you start accepting it as a thing of the past, as something that is not you. Therefore, you are preparing yourself to let go of this belief, which is done in a subsequent stage.
In the last stage, you ingrain a new and empowering belief in your mind. This belief completely replaces your limiting belief and gives you a greater degree of freedom in what to do in your life. And most importantly, it allows you to go for your dream.
