Be careful and aware of who you give your ear to while becoming an internet entrepreneur. Forming positive relationships will further your business, but negative ones may hurt your perspective which can damage your business. Listen only to positive voices which will help you to succeed.

You will hear so many voices, positive and negative when you start your business and continue on your entrepreneurial journey. You have to learn to sift between the good and the bad and try to stay true to your own dreams. The longer you are in business, the more careful you should be as to who you form relationships with. Regardless of how strong you think you are, negative thinking and speech can subconsciously affect your attitude towards accomplishing your goals.

When you begin your transition from employee to entrepreneur, I guarantee some people will think you are crazy for thinking about the notion of eventually leaving your 9 to 5 job. These people are grounded in the old principles of job security. They think a corporate job will keep them financially secure for life. Entrepreneurs see the forest through the trees and realize no job is secure and they desire to start taking control of their own finances. Before you start to try and defend yourself, realize they are under the old canopy of "climb up the corporate ladder and all of your problems will be solved". Sometimes it's just better to close your ears to those voices rather than give your precious time to deal with them.

As you become more successful, more people will desire to form relationships with you because you will be exposed to more professionals. Regardless of the status of the individual, be very careful with the associations you form. You want to develop relationships which will support you and will in turn utilize your support. If a union no longer serves to enhance your marketing campaign, you can professionally dissolve it, especially if it is weighing down your business efforts.

Unfortunately, friends and family may also speak conflicting information to us and we do not want to sever these relationships because they mean so much to us. Before you start on your entrepreneurial journey, explain to those important to you why you are doing it and what they can expect. If they don't understand, love them but close your ears to the voices. The road to a leader is not always precise. It may involve some rocky roads. In my "Accelerated Leader Development Program", I teach people how to build their internet business step by step and that no one will become successful unless they are dedicated to their goals. The more dedicated you are, the more you will realize that not everyone is going to be your cheerleader. The quicker you learn how to silence the negativity, the stronger your business will become.
