Tattoos are painful. They are very painful. It is often discussed and bemoaned; even by those who love their tattoos and plan on getting further added to their collection. There aren't very many people who would attempt to argue that tattoos are not painful. There's only one thing that people will admit is more painful and that's tattoo removal.
The general public perceives tattoo removal as being far more painful than tattoos. A big chunk of tattoo removal procedures are completed at convenient, easily accessed tattoo removal centers. Tattoo removal at these centers are effective; they know how to remove tattoos. That's not the question. The question is...is it painful? And the answer is a definite YES! The only way to access painless tattoo removal is by visiting a good cosmetic center.
Yes, tattoo removal was just described as being painless. And that's a huge qualification to make when it comes to tattoo removal. But accessing painless tattoo removal isn't a guarantee. Most tattoo removal options do not provide access to painless tattoo removal. It is typically only available through cosmetic centers who employ experienced medical professionals.
Americans love tattoos. At least 16% of Americans have at least one tattoo (according to a survey by Harris Poll in 2003). The same poll indicated that those aged 25 to 29 are more likely to have at least one tattoo (36%). These percentages represent 40 million people. And since 2003 the number of people with tattoos has only increased.
According to the American Society of Dermatological Surgery half of all the people who have tattoo/s will eventually want them removed (according to their survey conducted in 2002).
While tattoo popularity continues to escalate the popularity of tattoo removal is escalating right along with it. Those seriously considering tattoo removal should carefully consider all available options. Insist upon efficient results, but never ignore the importance of pain when considering the procedure. Some find the pain so terribly excruciating that they end up with partially removed tattoo art because they just can't stomach putting themselves through further tattoo removal treatment. Finding a reputable cosmetic center that offers painless tattoo removal avoids this situation altogether.
