In a world of temptation, most people find staying lean is difficult if not almost impossible. Weight loss can feel like a burden when everyone around you is eating whatever they want and most of them aren't piling it on like you do. However, losing weight does not have to be a chore and does not mean you have to stick to foods you do not enjoy. It just means you need to start focusing on small changes and adding them into your life at a pace that is comfortable for you. This article goes over 2 tips to help you get to where you want with your figure. 1. Drink More Water- This cannot be stressed enough. Every overweight person I dehydrated to some extent, so if you are carrying a lot of weight then you need to drink more. Cooked food is generally very dry as well so it is important to make sure we keep our fluid levels up. A good step to take when it comes to trying to get more water into us is to cut out other beverages like coffee and tea that can dehydrate us further and to stick to just water only. It is also important to eat lots of fresh raw fruits and vegetables that are packed full of water too. These will hydrate you as well and will help you keep water levels up. A indication of good hydration levels is that your urine is clear or nearly clear and that you are peeing 7-10 times a day. Hydration is very important. Even if you are slightly dehydrated it can leave you feeling tired and lethargic it, so it is well worth maintaining fluid levels. 2.) Eat More Raw Foods- There is no denying it that fruit and vegetables are good for our bodies. We are always told to get our 5-a-day, however our bodies need much more than 5 a day to be healthy and vibrant! The best way to eat more raw foods without piling it on too much is to make a commitment to eat fresh raw foods before every meal. Wake up and have some oranges before breakfast. You could even squeeze them yourself to give yourself a little workout too. Alternatively you could also have a fruit only breakfast by having a large green smoothie or fruit smoothie. A green smoothie is just spinach or other leafy greens blended with fruit and a little water. With your fruit smoothie you do not have to add milk or other things. Simply blend 4-5 bananas, some berries and you have a simple delicious breakfast. The great thing about this type of breakfast is that it will sustain you, is light and light on your digestion and will not leave you feeling sluggish before you have even left for work or gone about your day. For other meals you could eat 4-5 pieces of fruit (4 apples, 4 oranges etc) or however much you desire. Not only will fruit before your meal help you eat less of the main meal, which at the beginning will be your regular meal that is mostly high calorie, but it will also help you feel more satiated after your meal. Most people just want a little extra something something after they have eaten and this usually involves something sweet. Well have your dessert first in the form of fruit. This way round is also much better on your digestion. How to lose weight naturally isn't as complicated as many people seem to think. Stick to small changes, enjoy what you are doing and weight loss will come easily.
