When you want to have that brighter smile that makes people smile back at you having your teeth whitened is an option that you should consider. Having a smile that you are proud of makes you a happier person over all and you exude confidence. Working as a dentist smiles are my business. Over the years I have investigated many different options for my patients and I have tried them all on myself. I have finally settled on LumiBrite from DenMat LLC in California. The LumiBrite Teeth Whitening I have found is what patients want from teeth whitening procedure. The procedure takes about 30 mins and unlike other in chair whitening the LumiBrite system is the most pain free of all the whitening systems I have tried and my patients endorse this view on a regular basis. There are several steps to having the procedure, one of the most important is to have your teeth scaled prior to the procedure which makes the teeth more receptive to the teeth whitening. I then protect the gums with a mouth guard and paste to cover the gums. We then apply the Lumibrite Paste to all the exposed teeth. Then we apply the crystal from the LumiBrite Plasma Lamp which then treats the teeth for 30 minutes. The real feed back from patients has been how they don't feel the "zinging" sensation which they have felt from other whitening products. My most importan rule when deciding on products and procedures for patients is I strive for the most pain free and non-invasive I can find.
