As the maid of honor in a wedding, you traditionally are to read a toast to the bride and groom at the reception dinner. If you don't know how to write one or know how to get one prepared, don't worry. It's fairly easy and simple to write a toast! In fact, I'll show you how you can write a toast in no time and have people loving every word of it!

So, how do you get started? First of all, you need to do some brainstorming. Write down everything you think you want to say. Your thoughts will be jumbled now, but don't worry about that quite yet. The important thing is to get everything down on paper.

Once you have some ideas to work with, you want to organize them into an outline. This helps put everything into a chronological order. This will help your toast make more sense to the crowd that will hear it. There is nothing worse than going to a wedding and hearing a toast that you cannot completely understand. While needing to remember to be specific to the bride and groom, you want to make sure to include some humorous and sentimental things in it, so you can have some crowd interaction.

Another alternative is to buy pre-written toasts. These normally come in packages, so you have several options to choose from. This route works if you have little time on your hands and you want to have an excellent toast to read aloud. You simply just cut what you don't like and replace it with your own words to make it more personal.

With that said, if you want to get pre-written toasts, you need to visit Wedding Speeches You'll also find quotes, one-liners, speech samples and more!
