Menopause is an end part of something called 'menarche' wherein the girl enters into the phase of menstrual cycles at the age of nearly 13-14 yr. The menarche and menopause are unavoidable phases for any girl/woman with normal physiology and anatomy.
For millions of women around the globe the onset of menopause can be a period during their life where they are afflicted when many common symptoms, generally referred to as the 34 menopause symptoms. Amongst these ailments, some of the dreaded symptoms included nausea; night sweats menopause hot flashes, irritability lack of focus, insomnia and a variety of other symptoms that can greatly take away from the quality of life.
Symptoms of Menopause: -

• Make sure you consume the right diet- As mentioned, one symptom of menopause is hot flashes and there are a variety of foods that may trigger these hot flashes. These can include spicy foods, alcohol and caffeine. If there is a food that triggers hot flashes for you, it is best to avoid it. • Make sure you keep doing regular exercise- Another symptom mentioned is possible weight gain. To help try and offset this weight gain, you need to ensure that you maintain a regular exercise routine. Popular exercises include yoga, palates and other stretching exercises.

But excessive intake must be avoided as these may be harmful to women having past history of breast cancer. • Black cohosh helps in relieving hot flushes and sweating at night and is extremely safe to use. • Any type of Ginseng herb is useful in relieving stress and acts as a mood elevator for the women. • Valerian root is used as a tranquilizer, and if taken in moderate amounts can reduce sleeplessness in women in her menopause. • Indian spikenard is another useful herb that soothes the nerves reducing the nervousness and helps to calm the mind. • Liquorice contains estrogen and so it can restore its level to some extent and minimize the symptoms of menopause. • Regular intake of carrot seeds boiled in cow's milk has wondrous effect in reducing the tensions during menopause.
