The male obsession with breasts is legendary. Young and old alike admire them no matter what shape or size they’re in. This probably explains why a lot of women are conscious about them.
But breasts are more than mere objects of pleasure. Behind every pair is a story to be told and behind every breast are secrets that tell us more about that person and society as a whole.
To illustrate this, here’s an odd assortment of facts surrounding breasts courtesy of the Clevastin Natural Breast Enlargement System, the safe and natural way to help breasts reach their full potential. For details, go to .
There’s no way you can miss model Maxi Mounds. The adult film star and stripper has the honor of having the largest augmented breasts as certified by the Guinness World Records. Her measurements are – hold your breath! – 42M-26-36.
Maxi’s secret? String breast implants (polypropylene breast implants) that continue to grow after being implanted in the patient.
“Typically used by women who want to grow their breasts to a monstrous size, the implants are made of polypropylene which is a synthetic material that expands upon absorbing fluid in the body. String breast implants are typically used only by women in the adult industry and are not FDA approved and not available in the United States,” according to MakeMeHeal.com.
Thinking of getting that long-delayed boob job? Better see a psychiatrist first! The American Journal of Psychiatry reported that the suicide rate of women who have undergone breast augmentation is twice as high as that of the general population.
The study titled “Cosmetic Breast Augmentation and Suicide” was made by Drs. David B. Sarwer, Gregory K. Brown, and Dwight L. Evans. It looked into the relationship between breast implants and suicide that emerged in six early studies that have been made in the past few years.
“The higher-than-expected suicide rate among women with cosmetic breast implants warrants further research. In the absence of additional information on the relationship, women interested in breast augmentation with a history of psychopathology or those who are suspected by the plastic surgeon of having some form of psychopathology should undergo a mental health consultation before surgery,” the researchers concluded.
You’d think only women and transsexuals would be interested in breasts implants. But some men like them too and have become rich and famous because of them. Amateur magician and high-stakes gambler Brian Zembic couldn’t refuse a $100,000 bet to get breast implants and keep them for a year. He not only won the bet but kept the implants. His story is told in “The Man with the $100,000 Breasts.”
Finally, big breasts miraculously saved an Israeli woman from death at the hands of a Lebanese paramilitary organization. The Lone Star Times said the incident occurred during a Hezbollah rocket attack.
The victim got a boob job two years ago. During the war, she was wounded in the chest by a shrapnel but survived because of her implants.
“This is an extraordinary case, but it’s a fact that the silicone implants prevented her from a more serious and deeper wound,” said Jacky Govrin, a hospital spokesperson in Nahariya where the young woman was treated.
