Most of the people do not realize that the Prophet Muhammad is the last link of the chain of Prophets sent in different lands and times since the very beginning of the human life on this planet.
It is said that, man is the enemy of what he ignores. This might explain why the western media are almost always attacking the Prophet Muhammad, the Quran, Islam and Muslims.

"Lamartine" is Alphonse Marie Louis Prat de Lamartine was a poet, writer, historian and politician born in Macon French 21 October 1790 and died in Paris February 28, 1869.
Lamartine is the author of the book, "HISTOIRE DE LA TURQUIE" (it means The History of Turkey), Paris, 1854, Vol. II, pp. 276-277. 27 sections,
In his book, Lamartine says:
"If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad? The most famous men created arms, laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man moved not only armies, legislations, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions of men in one-third of the then inhabited world; and more than that, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefs and souls. . . his forbearance in victory, his ambition, which was entirely devoted to one idea and in no manner striving for an empire; his endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God, his death and his triumph after death; all these attest not to an imposture but to a firm conviction which gave him the power to restore a dogma. This dogma was twofold, the unity of God and the immateriality of God; the former telling what God is, the latter telling what God is not; the one overthrowing false gods with the sword, the other starting an idea with words.
"Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than Muhammad?"

Michael H. Hart (born April 28, 1932 in New York City) is a Jewish American astrophysicist who has also written three books on history and controversial articles on a variety of subjects.
His first book was "The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History", which has sold more than 500,000 copies and been translated into 15 languages. What mainly surprised readers in this book was the first person on Hart's list (Hart, 1992). Hart decided to choose Muhammad over Jesus or Moses. Hart attributes this to the fact that Muhammad was "supremely successful" in both the religious and secular realms. He also writes that Muhammad's role in the development of Islam is far more influential than the collaboration of Jesus in the development of Christianity. He attributes the development of Christianity to St. Paul, who played a pivotal role in the dissemination of Christianity.
In his book, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York: Hart Publishing Company, Inc., 1978, p. 33. Michael H. Hart says:
"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level."
