This is Muhammad School-11

The Prophet Muhammad is a clear example of humbleness and modesty.

It is well known that forbids the pride, that is the over self esteem, or the inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, or superiority, as a displayed behavior.

The following are just few out of many examples:

1) Muhammad: None shall enter Paradise with a grain of pride still in his heart

Muhammad always said in His Hadith that the one who deserves the pride is Allah, the Almighty Creator.

It is also narrated that the Prophet Muhammad said:

"'None shall enter Paradise with a grain of boast or pride still in the heart."

------------------

2) Muhammad: Do not commend me as Christians commend Jesus

It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad said, "Do not commend me as Christians commend Jesus the son of Mary. But say about me, the servant and the messenger of Allah."

------------------

3) Why the man was very scared of Muhammad?

On one occasion, a newcomer to his gathering was filled with fearfulness and nervousness and he was trembling. The man thought that Muhammad is like the kings who used to cut the neck of anyone with or without any reasons.

When he detected that, the Prophet Muhammad said to the person,

'Please relax and be at ease! I am not a great king. I am only a son of a lady who ate cured meat.'  It means that He is the son of an ordinary normal lady.

------------------

4) Why Muhammad's companions did not stand up upon seeing him

It is narrated that the companions of Prophet Muhammad used to stay sitting when he come because they know how he feels bad when they stand up for him; He did not like them to stand up upon seeing him coming.

------------------

5) Muhammad used to help his wives in the chores inside the house

It is narrated that Aisha, Muhammad wife, said, "Prophet Muhammad used to stitch his clothes, milk the goats and help in the chores inside the house.'

He used to help his wives in the household tasks and in everyday jobs.

------------------

6) Muhammad used to listen to the problems of his followers

The Prophet Muhammad never refused to listen to the problems of his followers.

It is narrated that a poor old lady once told him that she desperately needed to talk to him about a problem. He comforted her by saying that he is prepared to meet her anywhere and on any road of the city (Madina) to discuss the matter that worried her.
