My boyfriend dumped me and I feel like I just might die! Even though it feels like it’s the end of the world and you are hurt, remember that it's not going to kill you and you will recover.

A breakup is something that you can and will get over. While it will probably take some time, a little bit of effort, some help, and an attitude adjustment, you can recover. Keep in mind, that while you are upset that your boyfriend dumped you doesn't mean that your life is over. Life goes on and you need to prepare yourself.

Getting over the fact that your boyfriend dumped isn't a simple thing to do but it is definitely not impossible. You just have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on.

The only other alternative would be to remain as you are, wallowing in pure misery. If that is not the life you want for yourself, you have to take the necessary steps to turn things around. You will have to work at climbing out of the dark hole, but the effort will be well worth it.

Don't be afraid to get help when you need it, but be careful about where you get the help. If you are seriously depressed, you should probably seek the help of a professional. This doesn't mean you are losing your mind; depression is a condition that many people are dealing with. Don't worry about others judging you; get the help you need.

You may want to turn to your close friends or family members that can help you deal with the fact that your boyfriend dumped you. Try not to put too much on these people though and if you ask for their advice they will expect you to follow it.

If you are always complaining about your situation and your life, but never follow up on the advice they give you, they may become very frustrated with you. They will start to grow tired of your complaints and start avoiding you.

You also need to re-frame how you are looking at your situation. Look at if from a different perspective or angle. While you may be thinking it’s the end of you life, when you view it from another angle you will see it differently.

Look at yourself form another person's view point. Make an effort to see the good that others see in you. What are your good qualities? There is surely someone out there who will appreciate your good qualities. Just sit back and wait for them to arrive.

While you are waiting, find some way to improve yourself. Find something that you have long dreamed about doing and throw your life into it. If there is something non-romantic that you have longed to achieve in life, pursue it. Do you want to make yourself better in anyway, now is the time to do it.

The result of your efforts will be a happier you. Once you find that happiness you will begin to draw the person of your dreams to you; one that makes you smile and makes you feel like you belong. It will make you look back on this dark time in your life when you were crying because your boyfriend dumped you and see it as one of the best things that ever happened to you.
